Before you get started, upload the creative(s) that you will include in your campaign. Follow the instructions on the Add a creative page for directions.


Follow the instructions below to learn how to create a campaign in Samsung Ad Manager.

  1. Log into Ad Manager.

  2. On the navigation ribbon at the top of the page, select Campaigns. The Campaigns listing page will be displayed.

  3. Click +Create Campaign. The new campaign page will be displayed.

  4. In the Name field, enter the name of your campaign.

  5. In the Goal section, select the goal of your campaign.

  6. Placement Type will already be set to CTV Video. No action is required.

  7. If you selected web traffic or web conversion as your campaign goal, the Conversion Measurement section will be displayed. Click the Pixel Request toggle to the on position to include pixel configuration in your campaign plan.

    Pixel requests

    While optional for campaigns with a Web traffic goal, we highly recommend using a pixel to accurately track conversions on your website.

    A pixel is required for campaigns with a Web conversion goal.

  8. Complete the Budget and Schedule section:

    1. In the Budget field, enter your budget in USD. The minimum budget is $10,000.00.

    2. Select the calendar icon in the Start and End Date field. A calendar will be displayed. Select a start date and an end date for your campaign. Note that campaigns must run for a minimum of 4 weeks and a maximum of 3 months.

  9. Select the States and DMAs drop down menu and select all or just specific states or DMAs to target your campaign to.

  10. Complete the Demographic section:

    1. Age: Select All to include people of all ages in your audience. Alternatively, select Age Groups and then select the Age Groups drop down menu to select one or more specific age groups.

    2. Gender: Select All to all include all genders in your audience. Alternatively, select Male to include only males in your audience or select Female to include only females in your audience.

    3. Language: By default Any will be selected. To specify a language, select Specific. A drop down menu will be displayed. Select one or more languages from the options displayed.

  11. Select the Interests and Behaviors drop down menu and select one or more audience interests and behaviors to include in your target audience.

  12. Select the Creatives drop down menu and select the creative asset(s) to add to your campaign.

  1. Review what you have entered on the form. If it is correct, select Create to submit your campaign.

Your campaign will appear on the Campaign listing page with a status of in-review. As soon as it is has passed the review process, the status will be updated to ready.
