This page guides you through the process of setting up a new campaign in the Samsung Ad Manager. Whether you're launching a brand-new campaign or building on existing strategies, the Create a Campaign feature provides a streamlined workflow to help you define your campaign objectives, target your desired audience, and allocate your budget effectively.
Before you begin
Upload the creative(s) for your campaign. Learn more at Add a creative.
Determine the objective for your campaign: learn more at Campaign objectives
Reach: Increase the number of users exposed to your ad.
Web traffic: Send users to a destination on your website.
Web conversion: Drive valuable actions on your website.
App promotion: Encourage targeted actions on your mobile app.
Creating a campaign
The steps below cover all possible campaign objectives in one workflow. Choose the objective that fits your campaign needs and follow along for that campaign accordingly. Also, you don’t need to complete every step for your chosen campaign objective. Focus on the steps and options that apply to your specific campaign goals. This flexible approach helps you set up your campaign efficiently and effectively.
Follow the instructions below to learn how to create a campaign in Samsung Ad Manager.
Log into Ad Manager and click Campaigns.
Click +New Campaign.
Enter a name for your campaign.
Choose a campaign objective (Reach, Web traffic, Web conversion, or App Promotion).
Depending on your chosen campaign objective, follow the appropriate steps:
For Reach, toggle the Incremental Reach button “on” to find users you have not reached on your Linear TV advertising.
For Web traffic and Web conversion, select a Samsung pixel and the number of viewing days. (Learn more at Create a Samsung Pixel).
For App promotion, enter the App store URL, Mobile measurement partner, and the MMP impression tracking URL.
Set your budget (USD) and schedule.
Important
The minimum budget is $350 ($50 daily minimum) and campaigns must run for a minimum of 10 days and a maximum of 3 months.
For the App Promotions only objectives, select the optimization and delivery performance options.
In the Locations drop-down menu, select the location you want to target for your campaign.
Complete the Demographic section (Age, Gender, Language).
In the Interests and Behaviors drop-down menu, select target audiences with interests and behaviors that are in line with your ad. Learn more at Interests and behaviors targeting.
Select the Audiences drop-down menu and choose an available audience (or an audience in the Processing state) to exclude from your campaign. If necessary, click the New Audiences button to create a new audience. Learn more at Create a custom audience.

Important
To gain access to the Audiences feature for any campaign objective, you must submit your data privacy policy to your Samsung representative for approval.
Select the Creatives drop-down menu and select the creative asset(s) to add to your campaign.
Verify the information you entered is correct, and select Create to submit your campaign.
Next Step:
Your campaign will appear on the Campaign listing page in the Review status. When the review process is complete, the status will change to Ready. Learn more at Campaign statuses.
